The Sub-Saharan Africa Stakeholder Engagement meeting, held the first week of February, was highlighted by discussion with stakeholders during a field visit to Wote, Makueni County, Eastern Kenya. The field visit, held on February 3rd, provided AgMIP scientists the opportunity to sit down and discuss adaptation methods for farming systems with county policymakers. Results from prior models and projections were shared and analyzed by scientists and stakeholders. The discussions targeted usefulness of the results, the gaps in findings (if any), as well as information distribution systems. Outcomes from the discussion especially include advancement of Eastern Africa RAPs development.
